Lady Gaga's nose "was wider before", says a cosmetic surgery expert. The singer came under fire recently when she made her first public appearance in months at the Gay Pride Rally in New York. The 27-year-old sparked speculation that she may have recently undergone a nose job, after it looked suspiciously thinner at the event. Cosmetic surgeon Dr Dirk Kremer believes there could have been some surgical work done on her nose. Speaking to UK magazine Look, the expert agrees Gaga's nose was broader when she first rose to fame. "It seems from the pictures that Lady Gaga's nose was wider before, the bridge of her nose had a bump and she had a so-called 'boxy' nose tip," he analysed. "Looking at the recent pictures of Lady Gaga, we can see a straightened and slimmer nose, as well as a pointed, defined and lifted nose tip. She may have undergone rhinoplasty." Gaga has previously spoken about body image and having confidence in her appearance. Fans took to Twitter to accuse the star of having a secret operation, claiming her nose now looks significantly different to how it did in February, when she cancelled appearances to have surgery on her hip. Gaga has also vowed she would never go under the knife before. "I have never had plastic surgery, and there are many pop singers who have," she told Harper's Bazaar magazine in 2011. "I think promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification."
