 But it seems that things may have soured between Liz Hurley and Shane Warne, as the pair have sparked speculation of a split - say it isn't so!

The Daily Mirror reports that the couple, who used to tweet each other affectionate messages while they were apart, haven't mentioned each other on the social networking site for weeks, despite being in separate countries.

 While Liz is in the English countryside with her son, Shane is back home in Melbourne with his children - and there certainly hasn't been much public contact between the pair.



Rumours of a relationship breakdown have grown thanks to a series of cryptic tweets made by both parties, alluding to trouble in paradise.

Liz failed to tweet Shane on his 44th birthday on September 13th, despite the fact that they were spending it apart, and Shane didn't mentioned the British actress in his message of thanks.

Shane wrote: ''Thankyou for all your birthday wishes twitter family & friends.. My 3 beautiful children have spoilt me rotten this morning !''

 The week before, Liz had cryptically tweeted: ''The more I know of man, the more I love my dog. Goodnight from me and Raja....''
